SSC GD Constable Notification 2022

On October 27, 2022, the Staff Selection Commission published a thorough notification for SSC GD 2022. A total of 24,369 Constable (General Duty) positions have been made available by the SSC in the BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, Rifleman in AR, and Sepoy in NCB. The Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination, and Document Verification will make up the SSC GD Constable 2022 selection procedure. The deadline to submit an online application is November 30, 2022, and the online registration procedure began on October 27, 2022.

SSC GD Constable Eligibility

NationalityThe candidate must be a citizen of India. Vacancies in CAPFs & AR are state/UT/area wise hence a candidate must submit domicile/ PRC against his state/ UT.

SSC GD Constable Selection Process

The following steps will be used to choose the applicants for the SSC GD Constable positions in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau:

Step 1- Written examination (Computer Based)

Step 2- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Step 3- Physical Standard Test (PST)

Step 4- Medical Test

SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern – Tier 1

80 questions totaling 160 marks will be on the computer-based test. The online exam consists of 4 portions, each of which must be completed in 60 minutes. If a question is answered incorrectly, 0.50 marks will be deducted. If the question is not answered, there is no penalty.

For Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The contender must be effective in order to complete the race within the allotted time as shown in the table below. Different criteria have been specified for candidates from the Ladakh region.
