IBPS PO prelims exam consisted of 100 questions divided across three sections : English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability, wherein the English portion contained 30 questions and other two 35 questions each. The candidates are required to qualify in each of the three tests separately. An adequate number of candidates in each category will be shortlisted for the main exam scheduled to be held on November 20.
Coming back to today’s exam, as we talked to some of the aspirants, it turned out that the question paper was of moderate level. The section-wise difficulty level shows that the reasoning and quant parts were much easy, while the English section was a bit difficult across all the four slots as there were no fill in the blanks, no antonyms-synonyms in the section. If a candidate has attempted 55-60 questions, chances are fair for him/her to be shortlisted for the main exam.
