The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS RRB Notification 2026 on 31st August 2026 for the recruitment of Office Assistants (Clerk), Officers Scale-I (PO), Officers Scale-II and Officers Scale-III in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India.

How Many Posts Can a Candidate Apply For?
A candidate can apply for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) as well as one post under the Officers cadre.
However, candidates can apply for only one Officer post, i.e.:

- Officer Scale-II or
- Officer Scale-III

IBPS RRB 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in IBPS RRB 2026 must meet the eligibility requirements prescribed by IBPS for their chosen post. The criteria generally include age limit, educational qualification, nationality, and relevant work experience for certain Officer Scale II and III positions. Age Limit
The age requirement for IBPS RRB 2026 varies according to the post. Candidates must fall within the prescribed age range as specified in the official recruitment notification.
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18 to 28 years. Candidates should be born between 02 September 1997 and 01 September 2007, both dates inclusive.
- Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager): Above 18 years and below 30 years. Candidates should be born between 02 September 1995 and 01 September 2007, both dates inclusive.
- Officer Scale II (Manager): Above 21 years and below 32 years. Candidates should be born between 02 September 1993 and 01 September 2004, both dates inclusive.
- Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): Above 21 years and below 40 years. Candidates should be born between 02 September 1985 and 01 September 2004, both dates inclusive.
Note: Age relaxation is applicable to candidates belonging to eligible reserved categories as per the rules mentioned in the official IBPS RRB notification.

The IBPS RRB Officer 2026 selection process for Officer Scale I consists of three stages:
