Registrations for the (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) IBPS RRB CWE V recruitment 2016 exam has started today from the morning and candidates can apply before September 30th.
In it’s fifth edition, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) kicked off the registrations for the recruitment to combined 16560 posts in several Regional Rural Banks (RRB) today.
IBPS RRB CWE V notification was released last Friday for the recruitment on Officers (scale I, II & III) and Office Assistants (multipurpose) posts in participating RRBs.
Today, as on September 14th, IBPS has activated the link to fill the online application form for this recruitment. The procedure to apply online which started today and is open to eligible and interested aspirants, will end on September 30.
Candidates may go to official website (www.ibps.in) to fill their application form. The registration is given separately for each category posts.

Officers Scale I- 5539 posts
Officers Scale II (Generalist & Specialist)- 1999 posts which are further divided as 1533 posts of General Banking Officer, 152 posts of Agriculture Officer, 75 posts of Marketing Officer, 19 posts of Treasury Manager, 55 Law Officer posts, 35 Chartered Accountant posts and 130 posts of Information Technology Officer.
Officers Scale III- 198 posts
Officer Assistants (Multipurpose)- 8824 posts
It’s a good time for Banking job aspirants since past two months have witnessed recruitment from several banking organisations including State Bank of India on probationary officers posts and clerical cadre posts. IBPS itself has completed the application process for it’s Clerk exam and PO/MT recruitment in 2016.
Here’s the selection process and examinations scheme for these posts. IBPS will conduct all the exams online.
The recruitment for these two category posts will go through two stage exams i.e., preliminary and mains examination. The candidates clearing prelims will head to appear for mains exam.
Based on the cut off set, the candidates who will secure minimum marks accordingly in Officer Assistant exam will be provisionally allotted to RRBs while interview session are to be held for Officer Scale-I candidates.
The prelims exam for Officer Scale-I candidates will be held on November 5 and November 6. The mains exam for Officer Scale-I will be take place on December 11 along with online exam for Officer Scale II & III.
The prelims for Office Assistant category will be held on November 12, 13 & 19 followed by mains exam on December 18.

A total of 56 Regional Rural Banks are participating in this recruitment under CWE V notification. The examinations will be conducted in 209 cities in the country.
