Indian Bank has released a notification on its official website for the recruitment of 324 Probationary Officer vacancies. After all the stages of the recruitment process are over, the selected candidates will have to take Admission for Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance Course Offered through Manipal Global Education Services 2017-2018. after completing the course, the successful candidates will be absorbed as a Probationary Officer in Indian Bank. The interested and eligible candidates may apply online on the official website. Candidates should go through the official notification for the details such as age limit, educational qualification, selection process, application fee, etc.
The application process has started from December 6 and the fee can be submitted online. The last date for applying online and payment of fee is December 22. Candidates can download the call letter for pre exam training after January 1, 2017. The pre exam training will be conducted from January 1, 2017 to January 19, 2017. The call letters for Indian Bank PO Preliminary Exam 2017 can be downloaded after January 11, 2017. The online preliminary exam will be conducted on January 22, 2017. The result of online preliminary exam will be declared on January 30, 2017. The call letters for the online Main exam can be downloaded on February 16, 2016. The online main exam will be conducted on February 28
The Preliminary exam will carry questions from the sections such as Reasoning, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. The maximum marks for Indian Bank PO Preliminary Exam 2017 will be 100. The time duration will be 1 hour. The Main exam will carry questions from the sections such as Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry) and Computer Knowledge. The descriptive test will contain English Language (Letter Writing & Essay). The marks allotted for Main exam will be 200. The time duration will be 2 hours.
The exam will be conducted at various centers across the nation. Candidates qualifying the Mains exam by scoring marks above the cut-off will be called for an Interview. The selected candidates will be informed through email and sms. The interview call letter will contain essential details such as name of the centre, address of the venue, time as well as date of Interview. After the successful completion of all the stages of the recruitment process, the selected candidates will have to complete POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BANKING AND FINANCE. Those who qualify the course will be awarded the diploma and will be appointed in the post of JMG I as Probationary officers in Indian Bank. They will be fixed in starting pay scale as applicable to JMG I Officer.
