State Bank of India (SBI) has postponed the exam of recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers in State Bank of India on regular and contract basis. The online examination which tentatively scheduled on November 25, 2016 (Friday) has been postponed to January 22, 2017. Aspirants are also required to download the call letter for the examination which will be available from January 12, 2017. State bank of India had issued the recruitment notification for the recruitment of eligible candidates for various posts. The board has released the notification to fill up the 476 vacancies of Specialist Cadre Post. The Specialist Officer Online Application was available from October 4, 2016 to October 22, 2016.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the online test and interview. For some of the posts the selection will be done through interview. Aspirants who will be appearing for the SBI SO exam need to know that they would need to appear for the different sections which will include Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Professional knowledge. The reasoning section will include 50 questions, the Quantitative Aptitude will have 35 Questions while the English language section will have 35 questions and professional knowledge will have 50 questions. Candidates are required to score equal or more than cut off generated by SBI. It is important for the aspirants to know that the merit list of candidates will be made on order of ranking on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the Professional Knowledge and interview.
