The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) holds the nationwide SSC MTS test to choose applicants for non-gazetted, non-ministerial General Central Service Group-C jobs in the government of India’s many ministries, departments, and agencies. The SSC will hold the SSC Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination in 2024, offering applicants who passed the 10th grade employment prospects. According to the SSC Calendar 2024, the Tier 1 test is scheduled for July or August of 2024, and the formal notice will be published on May 7th of the same year.

SSC MTS Citizenship
A candidate is required to be
- A citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal
- Subject of Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee
- Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.
SSC MTS Age Limit (as on 01/08/2023)
The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:
- A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age, candidates born not before 02-01-1998 and not later than 01-01-2005.
- 18-27 years, candidates born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005.
SSC MTS Educational Qualification (as on 01/08/2023)
A candidate is required to pass Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board, University or Institute to be eligible to apply for SSC MTS 2023 Exam.
