The SSC MTS test is a national-level exam administered by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to select candidates for General Central Service Group-C non-gazetted, non-ministerial positions in various ministries, departments, and offices of the Indian government. SSC will hold the SSC Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination in 2024, offering job chances to 10th-grade graduates. The SSC MTS 2024 online application process and official notification for filling 8326 MTS and Havaldar positions were made available on June 27, 2024, at www.ssc.gov.in.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the recruitment procedure for SSC MTS Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) and Multitasking Staff. SSC MTS 2024 Selection Process
The eligible candidates for SSC Multi Tasking Staff recruitment will be shortlisted based on three stages. A candidate needs to qualify in each stage with marks more than the cut-off announced. The three stages to be cleared are as below-

SSC MTS 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality/Citizenship
- A citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal
- Subject of Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee
- Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.
MTS Age Limit (as on 01/08/2024)
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)- Candidates must be at least 18 years old and no older than 25 years old, born between August 2, 1999 and August 1, 2006.
Educational Qualification
A candidate is required to pass Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board, University or Institute to be eligible to apply for SSC MTS 2024 Exam.
