Basic Formula of speed and distance<\/p>\n

Distance = Speed x Time<\/p>\n

Speed = Distance \/ Time<\/p>\n

Amir by a car passes a1200 m long road in 4 minutes. What would be his speed in km\/hr ?<\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong> Speed = (1200 \/ 4x 60) m\/sec = 5m \/ sec<\/p>\n

Convert it into km\/hr = 5x 18\/5 = 18km\/hr<\/p>\n

A girl goes to his college from his house at a speed of 3 km\/hr and return at speed of 2 km\/hr. if he takes 5 hours in going and coming, the distance between his house and college is:<\/p>\n

Answer: <\/strong>Average speed = (2 x 3 x 2 \/ 2 + 3) km \/ hr.<\/p>\n

Distance between his house and college he travailed in 5 hours: (12\/ 5x 5) km = 12 km.<\/p>\n
