IBPS is looking at filling up about 16,560 vacancies<\/strong> <\/span>for the post of assistants and officers (scale I, II and III) in 56 participating RRBs.<\/p>\n

Eligibility criteria and vacancies<\/p>\n

Interested candidates should have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university as on September 30, 2016, and must be proficient in local language of the state where RRB is located. It is important that the candidate has cleared the local language, aka the official language the state as mentioned in the notification, at standard eight or above.<\/p>\n

If interested in scale I officer vacancies, candidate should be above 18 and below 30 years, scale II officer post aspirants should be above 21 and below 32 years, scale III officer above 21 and below 40 year, and office assistant between 18 and 28 years as on September 1, 2016. The age relaxation for OBC category is three year and for SC\/ST candidate is five years.<\/p>\n

There are a total of 16,560 posts. The cadre-wise list:<\/p>\n

1. Office assistant (clerical cadre) \u2013 8824 posts<\/p>\n

2. Officer (scale I) \u2013 5539<\/p>\n

3. General banking officer (scale II) \u2013 1533<\/p>\n

4. Agriculture officer (scale II) \u2013 152<\/p>\n

5. Marketing officer (scale II) \u2013 75<\/p>\n

6. Treasury manager (scale II) \u2013 19<\/p>\n

7. Law officer (scale II) \u2013 55<\/p>\n

8. Chartered accountant (scale II) \u2013 35<\/p>\n

9. IT officer (scale II) \u2013 130<\/p>\n

10. Officer (scale III) – 198<\/p>\n

The application fee for the post of officer (scale I, II and III) for SC\/ST\/PWD candidates and office assistant (multipurpose) is Rs 100<\/span> and for all others is Rs 600.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
