Examination Pattern<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(i)<\/span><\/strong> Examination will consist of two phases, viz. &#8211; Phase-I &amp; Phase-II followed by interview.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(ii)<\/span><\/strong> Phase-I examination will be objective type with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Phase-I examination will continue as per the existing Phase-I examination for Grade-\u2018B\u2019 (DR).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are four modules in Phase-I, viz.-<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>General Awareness,<\/li>\n<li>English Language,<\/li>\n<li>Quantitative Aptitude and<\/li>\n<li>Reasoning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(iii)<\/span><\/strong> Phase-II examinations will consist of three papers in MCQ pattern (except Paper-I) \u2013 viz.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Paper-I on English (writing skills);<\/li>\n<li>Paper-II \u2013 Economic &amp; Social Issues and<\/li>\n<li>Paper-III \u2013 (optional subjects) \u2013 Finance &amp; Management\/ Economics\/ Statistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(iv)<\/span><\/strong> Candidates will be required to write all the papers online.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>(v)<\/strong><\/span> Only successful candidates of Phase-I will appear for Phase-II examination on a later date.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(vi)<\/span> <\/strong>Based on the results of Phase-II examinations candidates will be shortlisted for interview.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(vii)<\/span> <\/strong>Final selection will be through merit lists which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II (Paper-I + Paper-II + Paper-III) and Interview.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">B. Duration of Examinations and Distribution of Marks<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(i) <\/span><\/strong>Phase-I : Objective Type &#8211; 2 hours &#8211; 200 marks<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>(ii)<\/strong><\/span> Phase-II: Three Papers &#8211; 300 marks<br \/>\nPaper-I \u2013 online- English-( writing skills)- 1\u00bd hours &#8211; 100 marks<br \/>\nPaper-II \u2013 Economic and Social Issues \u2013 1\u00bd hours \u2013 100 marks<br \/>\nPaper-III &#8211; Optional Paper (Finance &amp; Management\/ Economics\/ Statistics) \u2013 1\u00bd hours &#8211; 100 marks<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>(iii)<\/strong> <\/span>Interview: 50 marks<br \/>\nThe interview will continue in its existing format.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">C. Educational Qualification<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nA Minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC\/ST\/PWD) or equivalent in Bachelor\u2019s Degree as well as in 12th and 10th standard examinations.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">D. Age Criteria and Age Relaxation in upper age limit<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(i)<\/span> <\/strong>The present age criteria of \u201cBetween 21 to 30 years\u201d will be retained.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(ii)<\/span><\/strong> For M. Phil and Ph. D candidates the upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years, respectively.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(iii)<\/span><\/strong> As per extant practice age relaxation will be available to experienced candidates viz. candidates having experience as an officer in Commercial Bank\/ Financial Institution in Public Sector as also candidates with prior experience in Reserve Bank of India, to the extent of number of years of such experience subject to a maximum of three years. For such candidates, upper age limit should not exceed 33 years including experience. For experience, probationary period will not be reckoned.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(iv)<\/span> <\/strong>There are relaxations in upper age limit as per statutory requirements and for the staff.<br \/>\nAs per existing practice cumulative age relaxation will not be available in combination with any items mentioned at (ii) (iii) &amp; (iv).<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">E. Number of attempts:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nThe maximum permissible number of attempts (which were applicable for candidates belonging to Unreserved\/General Category) has been increased from 4 to 6.<br \/>\nFor detailed information, candidates may carefully read the detailed advertisement which will be uploaded on RBI website at the time of recruitment process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Scheme of Selection for recruitment of officers in Grade- \u2018B\u2019 A.
