1. Statement:<\/span> Should the health care service be nationalized? \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (d)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Arguments:<\/span> I. Yes. It has been done elsewhere also.<\/span><\/p>\n

II. No. The quality of health care service will deteriorate.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Statement:<\/span> Should cottage industries be encouraged in rural areas? \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(b)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Arguments:<\/span> I. Yes. Rural people are creative.<\/span><\/p>\n

II. Yes. This would help to solve the problem of unemployment to some extent.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.Statement:<\/span> Should election expenses to Central and State Legislatures be met by the Government? \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (a)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Arguments:<\/span> I. Yes. It will put an end to political corruption.<\/span><\/p>\n

II. No. It is not good in any country.<\/span><\/p>\n

4.Statement:<\/span> Is ragging in colleges a good practice? \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(e)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Arguments:<\/span> I. Yes. A sensible ragging helps the schoolboys to step into manhood and teaches them to take trifles in good humor.<\/span><\/p>\n

II. No. The tortures inflicted in the name of ragging and the humiliation suffered by young boys and girls often go beyond limits.<\/span><\/p>\n

5.Statement:<\/span> Can pollution be controlled? \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (c)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Arguments:<\/span> I. Yes. If everyone realizes the hazard it may create and cooperates to get rid of it, pollution may be controlled.<\/span><\/p>\n
