Pharmacist (Entry Grade) 10+2 in Science or equivalent with a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution and registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, OR a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma).
Radiographer X-Ray Technician 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry and a 2-year Diploma in Radiography, X-Ray Technician, or Radio Diagnosis Technology from a recognised institute. Science graduates with the required 2-year Diploma will be preferred.
ECG Technician 10+2 or Graduation in Science with a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology, Cardiology, Cardiology Technician, or Cardiology Techniques from a reputed institution.
Laboratory Assistant Grade II 12th (10+2) in Science with either (a) a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or (b) a Certificate Course in Medical Laboratory Technology equivalent to a DMLT diploma.

RRB Paramedical 2026 Exam Pattern

The RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 selection process includes a single Computer-Based Test (CBT). RRB Paramedical CBT Exam Pattern 2026

The CBT will contain 100 questions carrying a total of 100 marks, with a duration of 90 minutes. The Professional Ability section will carry the highest weightage, with 70 questions for 70 marks.

There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for questions that are left unanswered.

Normalisation of Marks

Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) based on their marks in the CBT. If the CBT is conducted in multiple sessions, the marks will be normalised to account for variations in the difficulty level across different sessions. In such cases, the normalised marks will be considered for shortlisting candidates for Document Verification.
